You know, it's very seldom that you hear one of those songs that tugs on your heart strings, knows exactly where you are, challenges every thought you're thinking, leaves you truly moved and motivated, and and causes you to breakdown and cry like a child; The Lashing by The Switch is one of those songs. Anyone who is a Christian, should definitely listen to this song; we can all relate. It's just so amazing, and encouraging. Yo so it's kind of been a while since a post. I'm happy, don't know why. Maybe it's because I have the love of Jesus in my heart and despite all of the crap happening around me, I don't really care. some people call me "emo" but that is sooo not true. I am way too happy and don't wear my pants tight enough to be an emo kid. Not to mention I don't feel like "punching my mom" or kicking my neighbors dog, or writing a song about how life sucks, because she wouldn't let me go to the mall or something. Sorry everybody. If you have to label me I'd say I'm like 2 shots of espresso in a decaf world! remember that, and think of Jed, who fully believes that it is NOT a crime to be happy and appreciate what you have. Acceptance. Whether we want to admit it or not, it's something we all strive to obtain. Is it bad when your best friends can't accept your changes? And it's not even like they're bad changes, like smoking, or drinking, etc, it's probably more of a phase than a change anyways. To narrow it down, I guess you could call it growing up and going through certain things and times, and reacting to them, so now these phases are reactions. Is it really so much to ask for a little support instead of belittlement and patronization?? I dunno. I wish my friends lived closer. Good night everyone. I love you all.

So there is a lot going on in the wonderful world of Jed. This Saturday, (Feb 17) I'll be speaking at a lock-in in Butler Pa @ the Y.M.C.A it starts at 11pm and is over @ 5am. I'm not sure who to talk to about going, but if you're interested, you should DEFINITELY get a hold of me and,yeah, we'll work somethin' out.

Then Saturday at 1pm I have a Christian drum competion called Fine Arts, it's pretty rad. Sunday I think I'm leading an activity thing with my youthgroup, and it's going to be rad, well those are the plans anyways. Not to mention Rock For Life, Butler County has been way busy. We're currently in the process of trying to plan some protests. We really want to go down to the Pittsburgh Planned Parenthood, and protest, witness, and tell people the truth. Unfortuantely, there is a "buffer zone". What is that? Well it's an "ordinance" that says "pro-lifers can not demonstrate their freedom of speech appropriately, because it may: make someone else uncomfortable, disagree with the media, hurt planned parenthoods business, or give hope to a world that profits off of despair". Go figure... Seems almost like prejudice. Remember the Jim Crowe Laws? I guess you could only say that this is a Jim Crowe Law against pro-lifers other than African Americans. However, there IS something you can do. Within the next week or so I will post a link that will enable you to e-mail the city counsellors who passed this legislation, and you can tell them how it is (with the love of Christ)
